We've purchased this particular modelJanWe've purchased this particular model of utensils before and they look the same yet slightly different, like they're not coming from the same mold anymore. The previous ones have tapered edges while the new ones that came in have sharper edges.5
I got this because myAltheaI got this because my sister purchased one and I really liked the style and weight. When I got mine, I was disappointed because it was much lighter and the edges were rough.1

Material

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing items – without losing its valuable properties.
