The first times you use the proofing basket, you may need to use extra flour to prevent the dough from sticking. It can take up to three uses before the proofing basket works optimally.

What is rattan?
Rattan is a strong yet lightweight and flexible material made from the rattan plant’s stem. Rattan belongs to the palm family and climbs along trees, though no trees are required to be felled when the rattan cane is harvested.
