Sliding doors allow more room for furniture because they don’t take any space to open.
The soft-closing mechanism is integrated into the rails and catches the doors as they run on the rails so that they open and close slowly, quietly and softly.
Safety film reduces damage if glass is broken.
The sliding doors do not require knobs or handles. This creates a timeless expression that is easy to combine with different styles.
The panels are interchangeable so you can update the look at a fraction of the cost compared to buying a new wardrobe.
Turn the panel over to change the look – each side has a different finish. Go for a unified look or mix.
Two people are required to do the assembly.

All great, challenging assemblyLizaSurprised that IKEA has this kind of quality wardrobe furniture (quite heavy), sleek and fits our minimalist theme. The assembly is very challenging though, that eats up a lot of time trying to figure out which goes to where and how-to's. Overall, this is a great wardrobe that's recommended for those who wanted a minimalist and affordable (vs. custom-made furnitures) furniture. It also served as a bonding moment for our family.
