A communal kitchen that does it all

When the couple living in this loft apartment opened up their home as a communal workspace, they needed to rethink the way they used and organized their kitchen. Everything looks a little different now, from the number of mugs in the sink to how they enjoy their lunches. However, even with all the changes and additions, this modern communal kitchen design is still full of distinctive, personal touches that make it feel like their own.

Hide and display

Storage is key in this communal kitchen. With loads of closed storage under the worktops and kitchen island, there is ample room for both personal and communal kitchen accessories and appliances. But not everything is packed away: hooks and rails offer easy access to pots, pans, and utensils, and bring the space to life with a personal touch.
