What can I do if something is missing from my delivery?

If something is missing after delivery or Click & Collect at a warehouse or a pickup location, be sure to first check if your order is split into multiple deliveries, as the missing item may still be on its way. If you notice that items are still missing from your order, please contact customer service for further assistance.

If you are missing one or more items or packages from your order after home delivery, parcel delivery, click and collect or pick-up point, please confirm that the missing item was included in your order by reading over your order confirmation or receipt. Keep in mind that multiple products may also be packaged together, so be sure to go through all the boxes in case the missing product is there anyway.
Before contacting IKEA customer service, please check that your order is not split into multiple deliveries. You can check this at Spor og administrer ordre page using your order number and phone number or logging in to your IKEA account. Visit an IKEA store

Getting help with the missing item in a department store can be a convenient option if you live nearby and need it urgently. You can check the product availability at the stores by searching for the product before you leave. Our chatbot can also help you look up stock status.
In the department store, go to one of the customer service desks, which are usually located near the entrance/exit of the store. Make sure you have your order number/order confirmation ready.
Find all IKEA stores and opening hours. Keep in mind that planning and ordering points are not full-fledged IKEA stores and therefore cannot handle missing items.
You have several options for getting help with the missing product in the store:
  • Replace in stores. An employee can replace the missing item and give it to you to take home, provided it's available in stock.
  • Arrange home delivery. If the item is not in stock, or you cannot take it home yourself, a colleague can arrange home delivery of the missing item from our central warehouse.
 

Contact IKEA customer service online or by phone

Contact IKEA customer service by writing "I want to talk to a human" in the chat. Alternatively, you can call us on number 64 00 12 73. Please have your order number/order confirmation available when you get in touch.
You have several options for getting help with the missing product online:
  • Arrange to pick up your item in a store. Your missing item will be available for pickup at a store of your choice, as long as it is in stock.
  • Arrange home delivery. An employee will be able to set up a home delivery of the missing product.
  • Get a refund. Alternatively, if you no longer want the product, you will receive a refund. Refunded on the same payment method used for purchase.
