How does «Indoor delivery» work?

With «Indoor delivery», we take care of your items! You simply order at checkout and choose a time, then we deliver them safely into the room you want, regardless of floor.


How to order
  • Once you've added your items to your shopping bag, simply select «Indoor delivery» at checkout.
  • Pick the date and time slot that suits you best. Just a heads-up, availability might vary a little depending on your location.
  • To help us plan a super smooth delivery, please tell us a bit about your home type, floor, elevator/stairs/doors, and any potential obstacles.
  • Is there anything specific our driver should know? Perhaps about parking options or other small details that could make the delivery even easier.
  • Simply pay and confirm your order. Then you're all set, and we'll happily take care of the rest!

After placing your order
  • You'll receive an order confirmation from us by email.
  • Please take a moment to quickly check that all information is correct – like your delivery address and the items you've ordered.

Change order (add/remove items)
  • We can change your order as long as we haven't started picking your items or sent the order to production.
  • Any price differences will be settled easily (paid/refunded).
  • Please note that changes may affect both delivery time and price.

Change delivery time
  • You can easily change the delivery time yourself, either on «My Purchases» (if you're an IKEA Family member) or via «Track your order». Just remember to do this up to 2 working days before your scheduled delivery.
  • If you need to make changes later than this, a fee of 50% of the delivery price may apply.
  • If you postpone delivery for more than 5 days, a storage fee of 150,- per day will apply from day 6. We'll send an invoice for this afterwards.

Cancellation:
  • You can cancel your order free of charge on «My Purchases» or via «Track your order» before picking/production has started.
  • If picking or production has already started, a cancellation fee of 50% of the delivery price will apply.
  • Custom-made countertops and wall panels: Upon cancellation, 50% of the product price will be refunded.

Need help with changes?
If you can't make changes yourself, it means your order has already moved forward in our system. Please contact us, and we'll be happy to help you!

On delivery day
  • Before delivery, the carrier will contact you so you know when we're on our way.
  • You'll receive a tracking link via SMS, so you can follow your order.
  • We'll send an SMS update on when we expect to be at your place.
  • If anything unexpected comes up, the driver will get in touch with you using the phone number you provided.
  • When we arrive, the carrier will contact you before the items are delivered.

Important things to remember for a smooth delivery
  • To ensure everything goes smoothly, please make sure the truck can get all the way to your address.
  • Move anything that might be in the way, and cover the floor if you wish.
  • Items are delivered together to the desired floor and room. If they are too large to be carried in, they will be placed outside.
  • A person over 18 years old must be present to receive and sign for the items.

After delivery
If you discover any missing or damaged items, please contact us right away, and we'll help you sort it out!
