TOKABO Table lamp, glass opal white

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.

I see TOKABO table lamp as a cute little friend who fits anywhere, on the smallest shelf or table top. Glass is my favourite material and with the light and coloured surface, the effect is even nicer. The lamp looks great on its own, but the mushroom-like shapes makes you want to buy more ‒ that’s why the lamp has different colours that are fun to combine. In mystic purple and warm sandy-white, they’re like small jewels that can create atmosphere throughout the home.
