This product is suitable toAliaThis product is suitable to be used for late night study and read. Since the ikea light bulb for this lamp was out of stock, I had decided to buy from somewhere else. So, in terms if brightness of the lamp, I guess it's alright and not sure if it's better with the light bulb from ikea. Lastly, customer needs to be careful when putting the glass part to the lamp as you might accidentally drop it while trying to put it on5

I like the lamp is really classic but modern. I remember back in the old days when we have this kind of lamp we're we put kerosene and a piece of cloth to make a light🤗

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.

"When I designed TÄRNABY I wanted to create a lamp that provides a mood lighting which is soft and warm. I was inspired by old kerosene lamps, and used glass so that the light bulb is visible and becomes a decorative touch, just like the flame in older lamps. I was also inspired by the kerosene lamp’s flexibility in the home. That’s why the brightness can be adjusted with the dimmer on the side ‒ and even though it has a cord, the lamp is easy to place and move around."
