You can mount the storage unit to the right or left, according to your space or preference.
Air ventilates effectively around your computer or other equipment because of an opening in the back panel.

Perfect big-boy desk for my son!AnisI bought the IKEA MICKE desk for my 5-year-old son as we transition his room into a fun little study space and he absolutely loves having his very own setup!
Why we love it:
Makes learning fun: Having his own "grown-up" desk makes him so excited to sit down, draw, read, and focus on his activities.
Kid-friendly storage: The drawer is easy for little hands to open and close, making it simple for him to clear away his crayons and books when he's done.
Easy to clean: The smooth finish wipes down quickly after messy art projects.
Having IKEA handle the assembly was a total lifesaver, too. It’s a simple, functional, and super fun addition for a growing 5-year-old!
