Set my mind on STYRSPEL but ended up with MARKUSAnonymous reviewerTrust people on Reddit when they tell you to go for MARKUS.
Initially, I was set on getting the STYRSPEL because the seat was made of mesh (vs your conventional cotton chairs) and would be much easier to clean, but boy was I proved wrong so hard.
I tested out the chair at IKEA Damansara, thought it was not too bad, but was slightly deterred by the 3-year warranty and the higher price tag.
Thus, being the Asian that I am, I wanted to weigh out my options. I then casually strolled over to the MARKUS and sat myself down, and was instantly sold.
Aside from the slight curved support you get for your lower back (which I am loving too), the chair is solid and the headrest provides comfort you never knew you needed nor existed. It also helps that MARKUS comes with a 10-year warranty so you know you're in good hands if anything ever happens.
In short, trust when people on Reddit tell you to buy the MARKUS. You won't be disappointed.
