The mixer tap insert has hard, durable ceramic discs that can handle the high friction that occurs when you change the temperature of the water.

Chrome-plated brass is a hard and durable surface that is easy to clean.

An aerator integrated in the tap keeps the water flow just right while less water and energy is used.

    Water and energy saving aerator (5.7 l/min.) for high-pressure systems included.

    Connection hoses with 1/2" connection included. Connection length: 50 cm.

    A tool is included that makes it easy to install the mixer tap in place.

    Max. temperature hot water connection 80°C/176°F. Recommended temperature is 65°C/149°F.

    Care

    Do not use scouring-powder, steel wool, hard or sharp tools which can scratch the surface.

    Wipe clean with a soft cloth dampened in water and a mild washing-up detergent or soap, if necessary.

    Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

  • Tested and certified according to relevant mechanical, quality and safety standards.This tap is for use on high pressure water systems. Tested to work with a max. pressure of 10 bar (1000 kPa). Recommended working pressure range is 1.0 – 5.0 bar (100 kPa – 500 kPa).

It is swivel faucet. Works very well, I love it being installed in the kitchen sink, I would purchase another in case of another sink, pressure of water on the tap is just right. It is chrome plated, easy to clean and very elegant looking. 5 STAR.

Material

What is brass?

Brass is a mixture of copper and zinc and the amounts vary depending on the desired properties. Copper is usually the main material and the more zinc you add results in the brass being harder and stronger, but also results in it being more difficult to shape and less resistant to rust. Brass can be recycled as brass but never into its original metals. At IKEA we use brass for things like knobs, handles, frames and taps.
