LADDA rechargeable batteries work in all kinds of products, from a sustainability perspective they are best in products with high energy consumption, like portable speakers, toys, torches or cameras.

Rechargeable batteries can be used repeatedly. Alkaline batteries are non-rechargeable disposable batteries, which need to be discarded after being discharged.

By using rechargeable batteries, you’ll always have ready-to-use batteries at home and rarely have to buy new ones.

LADDA rechargeable batteries come pre-charged when you buy them and you can charge them up to 1000 times.

Good to know

For rechargeable batteries, only use the intended charger.

You can choose to charge LADDA batteries with chargers like STENKOL or TJUGO.

Remove batteries from the charger when fully charged.

Observe the polarity marks plus (+) and minus (−) and ensure correct battery insertion into charger or product.

Only use batteries that are intended for the product. Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types.

Batteries should be handed in for recycling in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste disposal.

Special waste handling may be required. Please contact your local authorities for more information.

Let’s just say i won’t be running out of battery anytime soon. The only qualms i’ve had would be there’s no fast charging offered. The regular charger takes quite some time to fully recharge.5

LADDA 1900mAH rechargeable AA batteriesZamiIKEA's LADDA batteries are made by the Japanese battery factory that also manufactures for Fujitsu and Panasonic Eneloop batteries. In fact, the LADDA 1900mAH version is often compared to the white Eneloop batteries with very similar test results. Like Eneloops, LADDA 1900mAH batteries are rated for a minimum 1,000 complete charge/discharge cycles. I would recommend the regular LADDA 1900 over the more expensive 2450mAH version for non performance critical applications like camera flashguns as the 1900 ones have a much longer life. On e-commerce platforms like Lazada and Shopee you will find LADDA batteries being resold at higher prices, therefore it's cheaper to buy straight from IKEA itself. Furthermore, unlike Sony and Panasonic rechargeable batteries, I have not encountered counterfeit/fake versions of LADDA batteries. If you're buying the LADDA brand, you're getting genuine IKEA batteries. The only drawback about ordering these batteries online is that IKEA slaps you with a minimum RM25 shipping fee which I think is excessive for a local delivery.4

It lasts a long time and is very useful since you don't have to keep buying batteries. You can simply charge it when it runs out, and it’ll be ready to use again. Whenever we visit Ikea, we make sure to buy at least one of these.
