PeelerHoI am having one which is more that 15 years old. It is still good. It is still sharp as it could cut my finger. I bought a new one to stand by if I lose my old one or its performance is no longer up to my expectation. It is because I may not get one exactly the same when I need a replacement. It is not always in stock at IKEA.
