All IKEA stores remain open. We have updated our operation hours to 10am to 8pm daily in accordance to the Federal and State Government’s new standard operating procedures(SOPs).
Enjoy free parking during MCO at our stores in Damansara, Tebrau and Batu Kawan. No purchase is required.
Our Restaurants, Bistros and Swedish Food Markets are open, strictly for deliveries through our partners GoGet and BungkusIt, and for quick takeaways. Enjoy 10% off food on our Restaurant menu throughout the MCO period - to get you through the tough times.
You may continue to shop online 24/7 with our contactless delivery with pre-approval from your condo management. Due to restrictions placed on the home furnishing industry during MCO, we’re strictly unable to do assembly services.
Across all IKEA Malaysia stores, we have and will continue to secure and enforce all preventive measures while adhering the SOPs. Among the preventive measures we have implemented across our stores are the enforced scanning of the MySejahtera QR code for contact tracing purposes, hand sanitising stations, the mandatory wearing of face masks upon entering the store, social distancing markers, and thermal scanners at all entry points.
We're all in the same boat
Global transport crisis has led to availability issues. But vast majority of articles are still in stock.
The COVID-19 outbreak has greatly disrupted the global movement of supply and goods for many businesses.
The surge in demand worldwide for logistical services at this time has resulted in a global shortage of shipping containers, congested seaports, capacity constraints on vessels, and even lockdown in certain markets, amongst other challenges.
It is inevitable that IKEA has not been spared from the effects of these global freight issues. We estimate about 1,000 out of 8,500 articles in our range in Malaysia are currently affected by shipment delays, which impacts the availability of products as well as planned promotions in the stores.
We know how frustrating it can get when the items you want are not readily available and assure you we are doing everything we possibly can. As always, we thank you for your continued patience and understanding shown to the brand in this extraordinary time.
Scan QR code upon entry into the stores, restaurants and cafes. Only visitors with low risk are allowed to enter the stores.
