What is a chaise longue?

Designed for the ultimate lounging, a chaise longue is an armchair or sofa with an extention that is designed for getting properly reclined. The term comes from the French phrase chaise longue, which means "long chair". The extension should be long enough to fully support your legs and usually has a backrest on one end or armrests on both sides.
