Take your kids to IKEA
You have probably all heard of the children's play area located in our store and called Småland. Maybe your kids are among Småland fans? However, this is certainly not the only reason to come to IKEA with your kids. We have way more surprises for the little ones: from birthday gifts and special corners in the store to inspiring contests, where you can win a guided tour.
Contest for grades 1–6. Win a tour in the IKEA store!
Order at home and order in the classroom, order on the desk and order in the pencil case. Order belongs everywhere. Even better if bunch of classmates are passionate about order. There sure is a space for improvement in your classroom.
Take part in the contest "Storage and Organization Heroes" for students in grades 1–6 and share how you coped with mess and together came up with a funcitional and inspirational solution that makes life more enjoyable for everyone.
By October 7, record up to a 1-minute video together with your class and submit it along with an application form, in which you show before and after and explain how the newly-established order serves you. Five most original and inspiring stories – five classes and their teachers will be awarded with an opportunity to visit IKEA in an educational tour. The tour is like a demo-trip to Sweden: students will get to know interesting facts about Sweden, its nature, language and traditions. We have prepared some exciting activities to make this tour a genuine adventure. Winners will have an opportunity to take tours on one of these dates in 2026: October 23, October 30, November 6, November 20, December 4. Results will be announced by October 12.
A tour in the IKEA store

The tour is like a demo-trip to Sweden: students will get to know interesting facts about Sweden, its nature, language and traditions.
