How does the “Leave at Door” service for small items work?
To use the “Leave at Door” service for small items, you can select it when you choose “Small item delivery” on the checkout screen after adding small items to your cart during an online order. This service is not available at the delivery counter in IKEA stores.
How to order
- Add the desired small items to your cart and proceed to checkout. The available services and fees will be automatically displayed based on the total size, weight, and purchase amount of the items. Select "Small item delivery".
- If you wish to use the “Leave at Door” service, please ensure the box for this option is checked.
- Select your desired date and time for the delivery and accurately enter the delivery address information.
- After selecting a payment method, enter your payment information accurately to confirm the order.
- After ordering, you will receive an email with the delivery details.
Checking or changing your order status
- Please check the delivery details via the link in the email you received, or from the "Track and manage your order" page on the website.
- If you have ordered with the “Leave at Door” service and wish to change to in-person collection, please check the delivery company in charge from the "Delivery Date Information" email or your purchase history on the IKEA website. If the carrier is "Last One Mile Cooperative," please contact them directly by phone. If the carrier is "Sagawa Express," changes cannot be made.
- We cannot accept changes to your order details. Order cancellations are only possible before the shipping process begins.
About Delivery
- Items will be delivered on the date and time specified when you placed your order.
- The delivery will be left in a location deemed appropriate by the delivery company, such as in front of the door, in the mailbox, on a doorknob, in a bicycle basket, or in a storage shed. The location of the delivery will be noted on the non-delivery notice or the shipping label left at the time of delivery.
- For apartments with an auto-lock system that makes delivery difficult, a delivery box may be used.
- If a suitable place to leave the package cannot be found, or if the delivery company determines that the safety of the items cannot be guaranteed due to bad weather, the driver may contact you or leave a non-delivery notice and take the package back.
