The clips on this basket are designed for thin European shelves (up to 2 cm). Most Indian woodwork uses thick 19mm plywood with double-sided laminate, making the shelves around 2.2 cm to 2.5 cm thick. The clips are too narrow and will not slide in unless you force-bend the metal arms with pliers.
Recommendation: Measure your shelf thickness before buying. If it's thicker than 2 cm, this basket is unlikely to fit properly. Skip this or look for a wider clip alternative.
