Ideal Dining Table for Couples with Small SpacesDeepuWe have a small dining area and were previously using a round table with four chairs. We had long been looking for a more space-efficient option, and the IKEA NORDEN Gateleg Table turned out to be the perfect choice. We recently purchased it from IKEA and were happy to receive a 15% discount. The table fits perfectly in our space, and we usually use one side, which works well for a couple. When extended, it can comfortably accommodate up to six chairs, making it highly versatile. The built-in drawers are very useful for storing small kitchen essentials. We paired it with IKEA TEODORES Chair chairs, which are comfortable and a great match. It also doubles as a workspace, making it even more practical. Overall, we are very satisfied with the purchase. Assembly was completed smoothly with help from Urban Company (at an additional cost). This table has been a great addition to our home.5

Design needs reworkJamshedThe first most obvious design flaw is that the pull out legs get in the way of seating....Kindly see some youtube vids showing how the legs should be fixed to the center line of the base, to allow for easier seating and unfolding. Secondly - ITS HEAVY. This table needs serious rework with lighter materials, even if it means loosing the drawers.3
Screws should be of good quality I would recommend to use screws inserted in the wood rather than just a hole in the woodSreekanthScrews are of very low quality And I would recommend to insert a nut in the Woolf rather than just giving a hole in the wood wherever possible That will be easy to fix the article easily3
Sturdy but heavyJamshedIkea should redesign this piece to loose some weight, you need atleast two people to move it around. I really don't think it needs the drawers (adds weight and complexity) and are nit that useful in my opinion. It could also benefit from casters or maybe an aluminum lower body to reduce the weight. 4

A good, space-saving product, but could be been better designedRishabhOn either side, there is a single gate-leg which expand outside to hold the table top. It obstructs the chair from sliding under the table top. It would have been better if there were two gate-legs which expanded on the side. Otherwise, the product is extremely good in saving space, durability and strength. There was a bit of difficultly during assembly: one of the screws didn’t go through properly. It’s been a while now, so I don’t remember which one exactly. But looks like this issue is mentioned by other reviewers here.4

This table is a great space saver ideal for small appartments with some good storage drawers. It is very solid but quite heavy. It has an easy clean table top.
