It's meant to be hung off the ground, with the wings facing the wall. But we don't have such hanging hooks. We try to make do by leaning it against a wall. GOOD DRYING RACK!RatnamalaIt's easy to use this rack because it can be folded and stored away. Although, I am happy with it's ability to dry a lot of clothes (I use it mostly for inner wears and light clothes), I find it concerning that the thin metal hangers are a bit delicate. Their strength could have been better. The main frame however is strong and light. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. It is a must for every household.4
