A pull of the strings on IKEA PS 2014 pendant lamp gives the faintly glowing globe a shape that looks like a spaceship where light flows out of it. Made of black transparent plastic that’s partly recycled.

This was my first purchase ever from Ikea and it won't be my last. I purchased two of these lights and they are perfect for my home. The pictures on the site are just as displayed and both lights go perfect in my kitchen.

"I've always been a big fan of science fiction, which is easy to guess when you see IKEA PS 2014 pendant lamp. When it's closed, only a little light finds its way through the small gaps and transparent plastic of the globe, but a pull of the strings creates a distance between the parts and light flows out. The shape looks like a spaceship, but this lamp is much easier to assemble. You just click the parts together and it’s ready to float over the dining area or coffee table."
