    Bed is good for 1 year use only.KalyanI got this bed from HYD Ikea Store where it was used for 1 .5 year hardly, metal support rail has detached from the head board. where we are using it from 1 year and we had shifted to new house and install after 6 month of installation this damage had happed, i had contact the Ikea store at HYD they told we need physical part to find the defect, they had given other option you can raise a ticket our support team will respond in 24hr, they had informed me that because the screw fixing points in the board material have lost their holding strength. The images do not indicate any manufacturing defect in the mid beam or the slatted bed base itself. My question is if the wood is good quality why the screw will come out ? they simply told be fix it with other reassembling the bed base using the alternative fixing positions . Newly i got a other problem my bed is start creak sounds. if i recheck with them they simply mail you back this is not quality issue or manufacturing defect.3

    Bought this in king size, excellent bed nice and sturdy and not too bad to assemble. Nice high bed too ( 3 mattress positions )so i don't feel as though i am sleeping on floor. Bought VAGSTRANDA mattress which fits perfectly. Highly recommend
