Disappointed by the Fabric Quality and Customer SupportMayankI expected much better quality from IKEA. The chair looks great initially, but the light-colored fabric gets dirty very easily and is difficult to keep looking clean despite normal household use. What disappointed me even more was that the fabric got permanently discolored after a laptop charger was left on the seat. I understand heat can affect fabrics, but I didn’t expect the upholstery to be this sensitive for a chair marketed for everyday home use. The product page talks about durability, but my concern was dismissed as “non-intended use” and no repair, replacement, or goodwill support was offered. Overall, while the design is excellent, the upholstery quality and after-sales support did not meet the expectations I had from IKEA.

Turned offSushantReading all the reviews gives the impression that one has to assemble the chair. Sometimes it assembles without a hitch and sometimes there are just too many problems. I am loath to take a chance. It looked so good and I was wanting to acquire it but no thanks.
