Not recommended - Not stable, easy to breakManishI purchased this bed in 2020 and it worked well initially, it would creak sometimes.
However, after 3 years we realized that the mattress on time seemed to be "bent" in the middle. After removing the mattress, we found that the middle supporting leg broke off. This made sleeping on the bed impossible.
Also - Ikea doesn't sell the middle leg separately or offer it as a spare part, so I highly recommend that you don't purchase this bed. Instead, go for an Ikea bed with a Skorva mid beam, which is sturdier and less likely to break.2

However not even an year since I purchased this bed the central leg of the bed have broken and it has now became a pain for me. I have paid so much amount for this bed which effectively have very poor quality and didn’t even last for atleast an year. Now I’ll have to think twice before purchasing anything from ikea and will have to spend more money to get this bed working. Pathetic quality.1

The other issue is there being no solid head board1

The slates are very uncomfortable to sleep on for a matress upto 4 inches. The looks are awesome though. Hopefully the problem can be solved by using a thicker mattress3
