Product details

FÖRNUFTIG comes with a particle filter to purify air from dust and pollen and can be completed with a gas filter to remove odours, smoke and chemicals.

You can choose to hang FÖRNUFTIG on the wall or place it on the floor by using the included floor stand.

The handle makes it easy for you to move the air purifier between different rooms in your home and place it where it is needed most. When wall mounting the purifier, you can remove the handle.

VINDRIKTNING checks the air quality by detecting particles (PM2.5) in your home.

  • FÖRNUFTIG air purifier makes it easy for you to improve the quality of your indoor air.

    The particle filter is optimized to filter away approximately 99.5 percent of smaller airborne particles such as PM2.5 particles, dust and pollen.

    PM2.5 are small inhalable particles, that measure 0.1-2.5 micrometres.

    The gas filter (sold separately) purifies the air from various gaseous pollutants such as formaldehyde, which can be found in things like cleaning/household products and various fabrics and materials.

    The gas filter helps to reduce the odour of smoke, cooking odours and other unpleasant odours that may be present in the home.

    You can set the air purifier to 3 different fan speeds and thereby adapt it to the needs of your home.

    Set the air purifier to sleep mode, the lowest fan speed with low noise, during the night so you can sleep well while the air is purified.

    The sensor detects particles (PM2.5) in the air. It cannot detect gases/odours.

    Check the filter regularly to see if it’s dirty. An LED indicator illuminates when you need to check your filters and possibly replace them. The filter is recommended to be replaced within 6 months.

    The USB-C cable and USB power adapter are not included in the packaging of VINDRIKTNING.

  • Place the air purifier where the flow of air is not blocked by other objects.Place the sensor at least 5-10 cm from the wall since air must be able to circulate in and out of the back of the sensor.

Product design is defectiveSaileshSo I got this air purifier with the air quality sensor. Firstly, the air quality sensor doesn't come with a USB cable to power it up so you have to have one. Then the air purifier that's easy enough to assemble but looks flimsy has a loose front panel at the tab end. So it sticks out and doesn't fit properly even if you push it in. After a few months I'm not sure if the panel would even stay on. Also, it doesn't look like that panel will allow any air into it to purify it. Not convinced and disappointed with the quality I put in an online return request. They didn't get back and I had to call twice and they said they were inundated with complaints so... I just took the product to the nearest store and got a refund. Low prices won't help. Quality is important and Ikea seems to have lost that big time.2
