These slightly smaller scissors are great for trimming potted plants or harvesting flavourful herbs from the garden. The short scissor blades make it easy to navigate with precision among leaves and stems.

BRYTBÖNA Scissors, stainless steel, 16 cm

Poor ergonomic design – painful when cutting thicker branchesSelvakumarI have used the BRYTBÖNA scissors several times for trimming my rose plants, but the design makes them uncomfortable and even painful when cutting slightly thicker or harder branches. The extended, raised area on the back of the handle presses forcefully into the inside of my thumb and palm when I apply more pressure. It has hurt my hand repeatedly, to the point that I have stopped using these scissors for rose branches altogether. They work reasonably well for soft, thin plant stems that require very little force, but anything slightly tougher becomes uncomfortable. I hope the product designers reconsider the shape of the handle, particularly the protruding area that digs into the hand under pressure. A gardening tool should distribute pressure comfortably across the hand rather than concentrate it on one painful spot.2
