How does bedroom measuring & planning work?
IKEA bedroom measuring & planning is a planning service that takes place in your home. The planning sessions last approximately 60 minutes and cost Rs.3000 (refundable when making a bedroom furniture purchase over Rs.25000/- per room).
During an IKEA bedroom measuring & planning session, an IKEA bedroom specialist will plan your bedroom together with you at your home. The specialist will take accurate measurements of the room, plan your bedroom layout, furniture and wardrobe to support your personal needs for a better living.
This is how it works:
- Get inspired. Spend some time browsing our bedroom inspiration and exploring all our free online 3D planners. Take notes on which styles, colours, products and ideas you like so it’s easier for us to understand what designs and looks you prefer.
- Book an appointment.
- What do you need? Make a list of all your essential needs and wishes to create your dream space.
- Need to reschedule/cancel your appointment? Follow the link in your confirmation email if you need to reschedule or cancel your planning appointment. Please do this at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
- Discuss your dreams and wishes with our bedroom specialist during your appointment at your home. Our specialist will take accurate measurements of your space, and after your planning session, you will receive a 3D plan and a shopping list with everything you need.
- Take time to assess the plan and next steps. You can make changes to the design if needed by accessing the plan that was sent to you via email. When you’re happy with the final plan, visit IKEA in-store or online to finalize your order.
