Which METOD style families can I choose from?
  • Modern METOD kitchens
Modern kitchens can look great in almost any home, whether you have a newly built flat or a hundred-year-old house. The sleek flat-panel cabinet doors and drawers will give your kitchen a more modern look. Clean simple lines will create a calm and uncluttered feeling in your space.

Modern kitchens are usually designed around a matte or high-gloss finish, with white, grey and black being the most popular. Modern kitchens have minimal or built-in door handles and can be made fully handleless with the UTRUSTA push to open latches. Appliances are preferably fully integrated in the kitchen and hidden behind kitchen doors where possible. To make your modern kitchen stand out even more, you can add contrasting accent doors to your design, often made from glass or wood effect.
  • Traditional METOD kitchens
Traditional kitchen design remains popular year after year for good reason. The classic painted cabinets with beveled detail give off a comfortable warmth that works perfectly in any family home. Whether your style is more rustic, classically traditional, or modern country, there is a traditional kitchen for you.

Traditional kitchens are usually designed around painted cabinet doors, often combined with glass doors for the wall cabinets. The door fronts will have details such as beveling (a raised center panel) or slatted grooves to give the kitchen that traditional look and feel. The most popular colours are white and cream, but you can also design a traditional kitchen around the colours grey, green or blue. Showing off your kitchen appliances is also an important part of the traditional look, which means they are often combined with freestanding fridges and freezers and other contrasting appliances. To complete the look, combine your kitchen with a kitchen worktop in a colour that contrasts your kitchen doors and gives the kitchen a warm and inviting look.
There are many more styles of METOD kitchen available that bring elements from the already mentioned style families together. METOD gives you the freedom to mix and match to your liking to create your dream kitchen!
