How does a sleep appointment work?

An IKEA sleep appointment is a free planning service available both in-store and online. Sleep appointment lasts approximately 30 minutes.

During your appointment, you will meet an IKEA sleep specialist at your local IKEA store or online from the comfort of your home. The specialist will help you find your most comfortable sleep solution, from mattresses and bed textiles to lighting and room temperature.
This is how it works:
  1. Get inspired. Browse mattresses, bedding, and our guide on how to choose a mattress that’s best for you to get inspired. 
  2. Book an appointment. You can choose to book your appointment either online or at your nearest IKEA store.
  3. What do you need? Make a list of all your essential needs and wishes for a better sleep to discuss in the meeting. A sleep appointment lasts approximately 30 minutes.
  4. Need to reschedule/cancel your appointment? Follow the link in your confirmation email if you need to reschedule or cancel your planning appointment. Please do this at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.   
  5. Discuss your dreams and wishes with our sleep specialist during your appointment. You will receive a shopping list with everything you need, and you can also get help finalizing your order.
