How can I know the load capacity of IKEA products?
Check the 'Product Details' under product pages of every article in IKEA website.
To find the load capacity:
- Open IKEA website or IKEA app.
- Search for your favorite article and go to the article page.
- Scroll to “Product Details”.
- Select “Safety and compliance" and check the load capacity information.
Please note that load capacity information is not provided for every article. It is mentioned only for specific articles as applicable.
IKEA products are tested for normal load-bearing capacity for domestic use according to European standards. In some cases, IKEA has even higher product requirements than European standards. Most of the IKEA furniture has been tested and complies with the safety, durability, and stability requirements outlined in standard EN 1725, EN 12520, or EN 1022.
