What should I do next after completing a kitchen planning appointment?
You are one step closer to your dream kitchen, and your next steps depend on the current status of your kitchen plan. If you have not yet placed the order, there are a number of steps that we recommend you to take.
- Review your plan at home: Take some time to review the 3D design and product list. You can access your plan anytime by logging into the IKEA Kitchen Planner with the email address and password you used to save it, usually your personal IKEA Family account. Also ensure that the measurements your plan is based on are still accurate and your kitchen design will fit within the space. This is a great opportunity to ensure every detail is perfect.
- Make final tweaks (Optional): If you want to explore different options, you can use your saved plan in the Kitchen Planner to try out other fronts, handles, appliances or worktops and see how they affect the final price. Make sure to save your design after you’ve made your preferred changes. If you are unsure about your choices and need more help, you can always reach out to IKEA again by contacting your kitchen specialist, visiting one of our stores or by booking a follow-up kitchen planning appointment.
- Decide on your payment or financing of your kitchen: When your final design is ready, decide on how you would like to proceed with the payment of your kitchen and any additional services. IKEA can support you with your financing needs. Make sure to discuss these with one of our IKEA kitchen specialists. They will best be able to discuss the perfect payment option with you, based on your needs, budget and location.
- Decide on and arrange additional services: Your quotation includes estimates for services like delivery and installation. When you place your order, you can confirm these services to make your kitchen journey even easier. During that time, we will suggest a suitable time and date for these services with you and discuss the finalised pricing.
Be aware that, should you choose to proceed with our kitchen installation service, we will plan an additional home visit with you to confirm the full kitchen plan and make sure everything is ready for installation. This may result in changes or final additions to your kitchen plan. This is to ensure that we provide the smoothest experience for you and your new IKEA kitchen.
