What is IKEAs position on Russia?
All IKEA stores are closed, and we are no longer operating retail operations in Russia.
On 3rd March 2022, Inter IKEA Group and Ingka Group announced the pausing of IKEA operations in Russia and Belarus as a consequence of the war in Ukraine and due to interruption of supply chains across the world.
As communicated on 15th of June 2022, Ingka Group started the process of scaling down our business operations in Russia including reducing the size of the workforce. People continue to be at the heart of everything we do. Affected co-workers have signed mutual agreements, being offered compensation packages that significantly exceed the requirement of the Labor legislation of the Russian Federation.
Ingka Group closed all IKEA stores in the summer of 2022, and ended the retail business in Russia.
