The advantages of LED lighting

• Efficiency: The efficiency of an LED bulb is around 80% better than a standard incandescent bulb. LED bulbs do not produce heat when they emit light. They convert about 80% of the electrical energy to light with minimal loss compared to an incandescent bulb that converts only 20% of the electrical energy into light. LED lamps significantly reduce your electricity bills. LED lights also focus light without needing a reflector. 
• Longevity: LED lamps usually last around 25 times longer than a halogen bulb and 50 times longer than a standard incandescent bulb. When LED lamps reach the end of their usable life, they do not abruptly stop working. Instead, they start becoming less bright, giving you ample time to buy a replacement bulb. Though an LED bulb’s upfront cost is higher than a conventional bulb, it more than compensates with savings in replacement bulbs and electricity bills. LED lamps are also more durable and less temperature-sensitive than traditional bulbs. The longevity of LED bulbs reduces the frequency of maintaining and replacing bulbs in LED ceiling lights.
• Environmentally friendly: LED lamps are 100% recyclable. They do not emit UV rays and are free of all harsh chemicals present in fluorescent bulbs. Since they last much longer than a standard bulb, they also save the cost and resources used in production.
