How to care for your HIPPEASTRUM

The care level

When choosing your plant pay attention to your lifestyle and the care level of that plant. Some might need a little more care than others. But they all have a chance to grow and thrive in your home.

Native to South Africa the Amaryllis starts life as a small flowering bulb, producing large blooms even in winter months. When your Amaryllis is flowering, support it with a stick. During the dormant period, the bulb stores energy for regrowth next year. Plant tip: If you notice that the plant has gone dormant - let it be until next season.
