Not the easiest to buildAnonymous reviewerThere’s no pre-drilled holes for the top and bottom wood inserts, so you need to be able to create pilot holes and even then, the self tapping screws are a pain to get in. The wood panels are not big enough to fill the frame so there are gaps. 2
Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerI have bought quite a few of these shelves over the last few years. The ones I bought this week are really low quality. Such as the wooden shelves too small for the frame they fit in so there is a gap. The finish is poor as the wooden shelves are not finished on both sides. Even the assembly screws are a lot shorter than the original ones.2
Hard to assembleAnonymous reviewerLooks pretty good and it’s a very reasonable price however the wood provided was a few mm thinner than the frame therefore there is a small gap between the wood and the metal - not noticeable at first glance but if you’re a perfectionist then maybe avoid.
The reason for the 3 star review is for sheer difficulty of constructing the item. It was incredibly difficult to screw the screws into the wood and took all my strength to do so - not sure why it’s not possible for the wood to come with holes already in it to make it easier

Perfect height for taller TV standAnonymous reviewerWe initially looked at the TV stand from this range but found out that it would be too low for the bedroom since our bed is taller. We chose this shelving unit instead and it worked perfectly. Assembly is incredibly easy and it comes with cable holders that stick to the back of the shelf, so we've used that to organise the wiring for the TV. Looks great with minimalist/modern decor placed in the open spaces.4

No pre warning that you will require a pin screw and that a simple screwdriver by itself is laughable. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone I know, simply because of the utter pain in the rear it is to make.3
