Superb bread/loaf tinAnonymous reviewerTransformed my loaves. Slightly longer than my traditional rectangular tins, and uncoated (a bonus). Thin (rapid heat transfer) yet strong. I cannot understand why you would not line a tin anyway (comments about sticking). When you buy, make sure you take a white paper spacer between the tins (there to prevent scratching I assume). This is a perfect template for your baking paper (make a cardboard template from it for longevity). Absolutely no baked-on residues yet to soak off. Also if you don’t want to line, you may need to season the inner surface.5

My loaf cakes turn out quite long and flat if I use a regular recipe! Would be great to have a slightly smaller option as well.4

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
