By holding the lock key for 4 seconds you activate the child lock and cleaning function temporarily, and clean the surface without changing any settings.

The heat level is consistent .Perhaps the level from 8 to 9 is a jump. At 9 it heats up very quickly. The only thing is it seems to turn itlslef on an off and under load makes a sound as the power comes on.

A family member bought a similar hob from a different brand somewhere else and it’s no where near as good. I love how there’s an immediate reaction when turning things down. How it heats super quickly. Easy to clean. Part of me wishes I’d bought the bigger one! But this one suits our needs.

SHOCKING - DO NOT BUYAnonymous reviewerAbsolutely shocking piece of rubbish. Worked for three uses and then blew my fuse board. Been waiting for three months for a repair or replacement despite it being confirmed that there's not fault with installation or electrics. DO NOT BUY.
I have however marked it 5* for saving electricity as it doesn't work I haven't used any!!!
