Reviews

Top shelf not adjustableAnonymous reviewerThis was a nightmare to assemble so pay for it to be done. Looks good but instructions for assembly are poor. For instance you put the back on early in the process, but then you cannot effectively get the doors on without being inside the actual cabinet. We had two so left back off during assembly of item 24
AwfulAnonymous reviewerI ordered two of these cabinets. One was fine, as described by the reviews. The other was very poor quality chipboard with holes that appeared too large. It quite literally fell apart when I tried to move it. I have never had to throw away an IKEA product before.1
Storage cabinetAnonymous reviewerThis is a simple but very useful cabinet with loads of space, just what I was looking for, and at an affordable price. It is surprisingly strong once assembled and looks beautiful in my space.5
BrilliantAnonymous reviewerBrilliant piece of furniture finishes off my 7 year old son's bedroom perfectly fits all his lego, books and bits and bobs in perfectly 5
This unit is easy to build, sturdy, very roomy and good value for money..Anonymous reviewerSliding doors make this ideal to use in a small space. 5
Sliding doors are trickyAnonymous reviewerInstalling the sliding doors were "tricky" as the instructions were not as clare as they could have been. Once I realised my error it was easy to rectify, when done it is really good and looks the part4
Great little cupboard/side boardAnonymous reviewerEasy for 1 person to assemble. Finished cupboard looks clean and fresh and feels sturdy. I'm delighted. 5
Spacious and useful Anonymous reviewerI was in search of a kitchen cabinet that offered ample space without the inconvenience of outward-opening doors, considering my limited space. To my delight, the cabinet was not only easy to assemble but also provided the much-needed storage solution. Its simple design seamlessly blends into our white kitchen, fitting snugly into the designated corner. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase!5
White cabinet Anonymous reviewerWasn’t too impressed with this as the doors don’t slide easily. All other IKEA furniture we have bought has been really good 3

Function solution

Clever little fittings make all the difference.

The frame of your VIHALS storage unit is put together using smart fittings with grooves that are conveniently pressed into the pre-drilled holes without using tools or breaking a sweat. The fittings cut the overall assembly time by a lot, so you have more time over to do other things – or just take a break. And best of all, you get a sturdy unit with a neat and clean look since there are no visible screws.
