All kitchen doors overtime have yellowedAnonymous reviewerPurchased the kitchen 7 years ago, have noticed over time that the cupboard doors were turning yellow in comparison to the carcasses and trims in which have stayed white. Notified ikea of the issue and they only advised cleaning to which made no difference. Felt as though they were very unhelpful. The ten year warranty does not cover discolouration, therefore, we are now left with a two tone kitchen which is has left us very disatisfied.1

The doors above my IKEA built in microwave, hob and dishwasher, the paint has all peeled off. Contacted IKEA who sent replacement doors, but of course the colour of the new doors does not match the existing doors that have discoloured due to sunlight/usage. Asked IKEA to replace all doors so they match, they refused! The paint chips really easily, any damp patches swell, paint chips, total waste of money. Kitchen looks awful. IKEA know this is an issue hence sending replacement doors without question. 25 year guarantee? Didn’t last more than 4…
Stop selling goods that are unfit for purpose! 1

Dings happen in a kitchen, you put a knife or saucepan away and knock the cupboard door- I would have expected Ikea doors to withstands a few knocks... But they do not. I have tiny chunks of paint missing on most drawers and doors, and of course the so called 25 years guarantee doesn't cover "normal wear and tear". Terrible. 1

Quality door Anonymous reviewerI bought this door for a storage cupboard I was building. It’s a quality product which finished the project perfectly. However, due to it’s size it requires 3 hinges which are sold separately in pairs5

Get your own fitter!Anonymous reviewerNothing wrong with the units, kitchen looks good on second fitting (first was so bad had to be completely redone!), but after only 3 years, wall cabinets falling off the wall. Where is the quality control for your fitting services! Having to wait 11 weeks to get this latest problem fixed, wondering what will go wrong next.1

Only lasted for 2 yearsAnonymous reviewerI have got these kitchen doors 2.5 years ago for my bathroom wall cupboards (where I have humidistat controlled fan and i never had any mould as it is ventilated well).
My metod cupboards were just fine, nothing happened to it even when occassional humidity rises, however these door quality is horrid. Yes, they are cheaper than other models, but they chip very easily during install and after 1 year I started to notice all melamine is going off the door surfaces.
Dont even think of installing these doors on the cupboards above the kettle, cooker, deep fryer etc as in 2-3 years you would need to replace it.
My Ringhult kitchen doors above the same appliances in the kitchen are just fine.
Needless to say I got 2 replacement Ringhult doors instead of this horrid product.
Avoid, as it is a false economy for kitchen environment.3
