Made from enamelled cast iron, which spreads heat evenly through the pan and retains the heat for a long time. This makes it ideal, for example, for slower cooking such as roasts and casseroles.
Works well on all types of hobs, including induction hob.
The pan doesn't have to be oiled and is easy to maintain thanks to the enamelled surface.
Steam collects on the inside of the lid and drips down from the knobs. In this way the food bastes itself, which gives a succulent and tasty result.

Great but lid doesnt fit wellAnonymous reviewerPros: This is a good heavy dish and the enamelling seems good quality. Cons: the lid doesn't fit as well as a le creuset (but is much cheaper) and the base is enamelled so it slides around on the pan rests which is a bit dodgy.
Love this potAnonymous reviewerI’ve been looking for a cast iron pot for a while, just happened to see this on my adhoc visit to IKEA. It’s an absolute must have. I used it nearly every day, it is so easy to clean, my food cooks perfectly on my induction hob (which I was a concern I had). The colour is beautiful (by chance matches my kitchen. Best buy, at a price far less than the name brands and is of excellent quality. All I need now is for the other pans to be made in the same colour range!!
