The bench is so long that it can accommodate two people.
The sturdy metal frame reinforces the shape and makes the bench feel neat, despite its large storage space.

Don’t expect a darkish greenAnonymous reviewerI expected the colour to be different from photo, was surprised how light it is, sticker on box suggested more of a forest/conifer green. Clashes with dulux overtly olive paint rather than blending in as I,d hoped
Really easy to assemble
Shame lid is flat on inside ,material lining taut- would have been better with hollow lid so you could fill better, current style lid dosnt close if items slightly high
Holds about 10 pairs of adult shoes so does what I wanted, but a hollow lid and more volume would have fitted about 16
Looks good and feels stable to sit on.
Chenille quite flat, was expecting more of a chunky corduroy feel.
Live in highlands so can’t get to a physical store, have to rely on pictures. Probably would not have purchased it if seen in reality in store, high price point, more of a 100-120 item in my opinion.

Very smartAnonymous reviewerVery easy to put together. My only criticism would be the placement of the care labels which are sewn in on the external edge. It took some care to remove them without damaging the cover and some of it could not be entirely removed so is visible on the front side edge of the lid. Also, I’m not sure why there is a facility for placing two gas lifts, but only one was supplied.
Poor quality for the priceAnonymous reviewerWe bought this and returned it due to the stitching being defective over one of the hinges. We got an exchange and the issue was the same, this time on both hinges. The fabric was all frayed inside - basically poorly finished off. It seemed like seconds/discounted. We returned the second one and just got a refund, as we've found better quality elsewhere for less money.
Not really worth itAnonymous reviewerThe bench does the job, but I was expecting much better for the price. The fabric edges are bumpy and look unfinished, with thread-like bits sticking out and parts of the inner material visible. It gives a bit of a cheap feel—more like something from Temu than IKEA.
The lid only opens to about 45 degrees, so getting into the storage means kneeling on the floor and reaching in—not the most user-friendly design.
On the plus side, the bumpy edge is Velcro, so it looks like you can remove the top cover and inner lining for washing, which is handy. But overall, it doesn’t feel like good value for £165.
Excellent sturdy and useful Anonymous reviewerGreat for sitting on as extra comfortable seating, or for storage and lounging on- material is good quality and soft, the bench/footstool is easy to put together and takes less than 5 minutes and it’s very well made and sturdy if rather heavy. This piece would look well at the end if a bed or in the middle of a room as seating or footstool- it’s also firm or stable enough to use as a table for a tray if required. Very happy with it. The Cover is removable from the Velcro for washing or changing. Metal feet are attractive and very stable
