Unfortunately the paint just rubs off and has stained the cuffs of my shirts. I've had to buy additional cleaning products to get it off. It is disappointing. Extremely poorAnonymous reviewerTo echo what was already mentioned here - the finish of this tabletop is simply awful. It looks great out of the box and first couple of weeks but eventually white(!) base of the table will start showing due to micro damages. Ruins the whole look, awful.1
Poor finish on table topAnonymous reviewerDescription claims this is a hardwearing desk, unfortunately that is not the case. The surface of the table is very easily damaged and, as the table is black, any damage is clearly visible. Such a shame because otherwise the desk is fine.2
AVOID THIS ITEM AT ALL COSTS. Anonymous reviewerAs the other reviews have already suggested, the surface coating of this product is ridiculously un-durable considering the price tag. After a few months of regular normal use you will find you have patches in the paintwork with white marks showing through completely ruining the look and feel of the table top.

Stylish but fragileAnonymous reviewerTabletop is well styled and nice to look at. However all buyers should be aware that the finish on the top is very, very poor at resisting damage. You can damage it by rubbing against the edge of the table as you go about your day, or scratch off the black finish with your fingernail with shockingly little effort.
