Basically good.Anonymous reviewerGood function in keeping warm. But there is spills after pouring out .4
Pours badlyAnonymous reviewerHad this for about a year. It pours badly. It pours into the cup and next to the cup. Make sure you use a tray to collect the side splashes2
ThermosAnonymous reviewerPerfect for my needs5
Metal thermal flask color black Anonymous reviewerNice color and efficient keeps tea hot for 12 hours 5
Took getting used to, but very goodAnonymous reviewerThe flat design lid took some getting used to, and felt a bit clunky to use at first but got softer and supple with every use. It keeps my coffee hot even if the jug is not full, it's beatitful, and it's easy to clean between uses. 4
Lovely JugAnonymous reviewerAnother circular hub bargain. Impressed by the design of this. Looks good and very handy addition to coffee equipment.4
PerfectAnonymous reviewerExtremely good mquality and kept contents hot for 24 hours5
Pleasantly surprisedAnonymous reviewerLike everyone else bought this flask, I simply didn’t want to have to go and make 5 cups of tea all day long when I could just save energy and time and do one big massive pot just for me! I know that there is a very well-known rival Ther… with a massive history of quality. Initially, I only want to look at it, but it was so robust in build quality and in design that I bought it! Originally I come for the two cheaper products so that way the kids could have a cold drink outside without being in and out every 5 seconds. Well, I forgot about that and bought me this! Sometimes parents gotta come first! It has been a week and it has kept my tea hot for most of the day (very hot 4/5 hrs later) and after 12 hours, the tea was still warm !? But 2b fair I tried the popbrand - didn’t even make it to the checkout. It felt plasticky and cheap. Yes, it may be easier to use with one easy button, but I’ll wait till my arthritis sets in. But now need one for coffee! And something about the kids…🤔😂5
It is very handyAnonymous reviewerIt is very handy4
Excellent Jug FlaskAnonymous reviewerLooks nicer than an ordinary flask, and does exactly as it should keeping your drink hot.5
UNDERLÄTTAAnonymous reviewerMy dad said it is very good it will keep his tea hot5
Very nice design & easy to useAnonymous reviewerAt first i didnt know how to open in as it came with no instruction!!!!! of hot to take rhe lid off, but after googling it its was sooo easy and very practical too like it alot!5
It does what it is made for wellAnonymous reviewerlike the design, easy to use. . Does'nt stay hot for long about an hour3
OK coffee pot - needs improvementsAnonymous reviewerWe have only used it twice so far, it appears to be sturdy and looks good. The lid is very stiff to turn, and it pours rather slowly unless the lid is taken right off. On the expensive side.3
Anonymous reviewerDesign is nice but not user friendly4
insulated coffee potAnonymous reviewerlooks good but the top is too difficult o remove and replace meanin it is going to landfill in the new year3

A better everyday one cup at a time

Have you had coffee or tea today? Statistically, you most likely have. In fact, these hot brews are the most consumed beverages in the world next after water. They’re a part of life that can give a silver lining to any moment. That’s why we decided to update our selection of products to make that perfect cup – from the tea infuser and the kettle to the milk frother.

Malin Ljungström, who was involved in developing the range, shares her insights. “To many, the smell of coffee and tea means well-being and a homey feeling. Since we want to improve people’s everyday, we’re offering products that make it possible for more to experience more feelgood moments at home.”

Developing things that make a difference

Malin and her colleagues dug deep into coffee and tea cultures to find out what tools people feel they can’t live without. They talked to specialists and investigated living, eating and drinking habits. “We wanted to develop items that make a difference, so we’ve focused on a few, but carefully selected products,” she states. The team cooperated with IKEA Test Lab in Älmhult, Sweden. It’s an IKEA version of a James Bond lab where prototypes are inspected and evaluated. “A couple of the things we checked were that the thermoses can keep fluids really warm for a long time. And that the glass mugs and glass pots are durable and comfortable, even though they look and feel light and airy,” says Malin.

For all tastes and different wallets

No matter how you enjoy your cup, you’ll find the things that put an extra flavour to your drink in the range. Another good thing is that there’s something for all wallets. “It’s one of our contributions to a better life at home. A way to improve people’s everyday one cup at a time,” concludes Malin.

Material

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
