Great desk but a massive massive flawAnonymous reviewerFirst off the desk itself is great. Much better than the old hand-crank Trotten desk I used to have. It looks the part and it's sturdy.
Unfortunately this is let down by an unbelievably stupid design flaw. This is supposed to be a very basic sit stand desk - you push one button to go up and one button to go down. Supposed to be easy.
However the DOWN button is also the same as the RESET button. So if you hold the down button for 5 seconds, the desk will go down, and then it will stop, because it thinks it's being recalibrated. So you have to press and hold DOWN, wait for it move a bit, then it recalibrates, then you have to hold DOWN again, and you have to do this about 5 times for the desk to go from standing to sitting position. The UP function works perfectly - you press and hold the button and the desk does what it should.
IKEA support - useless. When I raised this they offered to pick the desk up and send a new one - with the same issue. I would not buy this again.
