It doesn't take up a lot of space and is such a versatile piece of furniture. The shelf means there's no reason for clutter on top of the desk. Plenty of space. Delighted

Not as good quality as the Kallex shelves, more flimsy feel, although quite sturdy when built. Would have preferred if IKEA built a Kallex version of this sized desk. Having said this, great item for the price.
