    A lighter weight table providing same service.Anonymous reviewerOriginal table was built to last and had provided 15 years service. But it was too heavy to move it or the matching chairs. Had already purchased a kitchen table in similar style so was confident it would be satisfactory. Only downside was though lighter in appearance it is solid and really does need two people to assemble. Assembly instructions are good and only required a mallet and a screwdriver ( good rachet driver is best) to make it and the chairs up. Allow 2 hours. Most importantly the Mistress of the house likes it.5

Extending the table is easy and the fact the legs move with tje corners us great for those pitying on the sides. Take care with the top, being wood it will need looking after and protecting from dents and scratching.5
