High QualityAnonymous reviewerI’ve bought many (too many?) Ikea items over the years. They’re always very well engineered and good value, if sometimes a little cheap on materials. The Tonstad series is a cut above. The build quality is very good indeed. The oak veneer is a good 2mm thick and the back panels are the same veneered chipboard, not the virtual cardboard you get with Pax units. The hinges are heavy duty and adjustable to get a precise alignment. I’m very impressed.

Purchased some lovely handles to go with it which made a huge difference to the look of the units. Putting it together was a massive challenge as many of the pieces lacked identifying numbers/ letters. The air was blue, needless to say. Once assembled the three units looked amazing and I’m really pleased with the result!
