Reviews

Strange slotsAnonymous reviewerAs a previous reviewer mentioned this is a great and sturdy product however at the very start you have to place plastic pegs into a slot and then slide the whole side pieces downwards & this is NOT easy, we ended up having to hammer (with force) these side and top pieces in, causing the wood to chip slightly and the paint to flake off. If we lived closer to an ikea store we would have returned this. A good product but maybe wait until they redesign it to avoid these weird slots & pegs.4
Easy to assemble, looks goodAnonymous reviewerClear assembly instructions. Finishes good. Compact and therefore ideal for a smaller bedroom5
Pine replacementAnonymous reviewerLooks good. Smooth drawer action and great storage space.5
DrawsAnonymous reviewerGreat value for money and looks great with matching wardrobes.5
Solid qualityAnonymous reviewerThis is a very solid piece of furniture once assembled. Building is a little more complicated than normal as there are a number of unfamiliar fittings. The back of the unit is very solid and it makes the whole piece pretty heavy (and robust). Overall very happy with it.4

The Tonstad has a beautifully finished texture and gleam. We looked everywhere for a combination of style and price……we were extremely happy choosing the Tonstad at IKEA!! It was our “Top Drawer” choice!!
