Which was a shame, because I had such high hopes for it. Otherwise, it was easy to install (just plug it in) and operate (as long as you remember to switch off accidental touch lock).1

One hob switches the other offAnonymous reviewerAs soon as one turns the second hob on, the other one switches off, rendering it effectively a one hob product. Had the same issue with another, so took it back and exchanged, hoping it was a single faulty item, but seems deeper than that. Apparently both hobs should work together up to a moderate level, but in my case one was on level one, and turned off as soon as the second was on. Had also switched on and left for 10 mins to stabilise, as per manufacturer suggestion, to no avail. V disappointed as we are more than happy with a single hob equivalent, so much so that we decided to upgrade to the two hob1

Less noisy than previous model - same excellent ergonomicsAnonymous reviewerAbout two years ago I gave away my previous Tillreda 2-zone (#904.971.66); because insistently & unpleasantly noisy. This model (#305.931.23) is usable without ear-muffs up to 1000W (total) or so, & offers quite a lot - indeed: enough - simmer-levels, between the 2 zones, for proper cooking. Great ergonomics & easy-to-clean. Much (I've had 2) better function than the highly-touted Duxtop. 4
