This is untrue: at the recommended 2x window-width of fabric, these curtains are completely see-through. I carefully read the description and reviews before purchasing these nets and perhaps all the people who like them are just using them for decoration, because they provide zero privacy. Maybe the curtains would provide some privacy if you used 4x window width but, as is, people can see straight into my sitting room now. I'll have to buy something else to replace this nonsense. If you want privacy, either buy something else or buy 4x the window width so the fabric folds.1

Voile netsAnonymous reviewerNot bought or used nets for years, but wanted something to hang in windows while it's been so hot to filter light and keep the insects out of open windows. These did the job perfectly, lets lovely diffused light through and doesn't darken the room at all. Considering buying more for other rooms. You just slide on a pole using the slot at top, so no hooks etc required. 5

Good valueAnonymous reviewerNot the best quality or best looking but they are summer curtains and fine for that task. My living room faces west and in direct sunlight can get to 38-40C in summer. With no air con, that's torture. Not any more. These don't cut out all of the heat on a sunny but they cut out most of it.5

Very see through and annoyiongly large AND VISIBLE labelsAnonymous reviewerThese were cheap but very lightweight and see-through, I wanted to create a lighter stripe against a grey wall and they were not heavy enough.
The most annoying thing is the huge brand/materials/care labels which show. I had to cut them away!

Exactly what I wanted.Anonymous reviewerLovely net curtains what I used along side my normal curtains, lovely in the breeze. Only downside is the massive label they sew inside - no need for it and if you try to remove it it unstitches the curtains so I had to cut it within millimeters of the stitching and thankfully you cannot see it.5
